HOW IT ALL STARTED

At the age of eight, the founder, Winston Dennis Fuller, was asked what work he would like to do when grown up. His proud reply was to become a carpenter because he was taught that people must love what they do no matter what kind of job. This truth has become a family value and is also reflected in the companies’ values today. (To always do your work with joy).

In 1974 he started his own business and made it his life’s passion for incorporating his children to continue and grow the business.

The strong family business grew into a multi-functional and multi-cultural business operating from their offices in Potchefstroom. Fuller Civils was registered in 1999 and aim to develop and carry on long into the future. In 2019 Mr Kapari Rasunyane was welcomed to the family after completing successful projects together in the past. After his passing in 2021, Mr Nkosinati Tom took over as 51% shareholder.

Apart from being proudly South African, is it our passion for giving back to the community portrayed in their participation and sponsoring African female students in a skills development programme. Mr Tom’s involvement in staff and cultural development is a fundamental part of the company’s internal development programme.

We firmly believe that success can only be achieved through a combination of hard work and sound financial practice. Following that recipe has contributed to the continual growth and success the company has reaped to date. With attention to detail, creative ways of increasing productivity, quality work, focus on client needs and completing projects on time are only a few of Fuller Civils’ competitive advantages.

We still operate strongly on our family values and all staff is seen as part of the bigger Fuller Family. We live and abide by our company values and look to the future, optimistic that we will continue to grow from strength to strength.
